Hello: I just got my new H1B approved. It took about 1 1/2 months for me
to get the prevailing wage statement and the Labor Condition Application
(LCA) and then around 45 days in all from the time I sent it to INS and
the time I got my H1 in hand ie. two days ago [Hence 3 months in all].
But, I was dealing with the Nebraska Service Center. If you are in Texas
then you might be dealing with the Texas Service Center and they may be
taking longer to approve cases??? But 6 to 9 months for H1 sounds like a
great deal of time. Good luck, but try and hurry before your PT expires.
Perhaps you might want to get some legal advice on this.
