If you request for I485 package by mail either through phone or
the INS website, the INS will send you a complete set of forms.
You need to seperately ask for application forms for Employment
Authorization Document and Advance Parole.

In article <8a2bri$kt9$1...@nntp9.atl.mindspring.net>, "Trung Tran"
I-485, I-864 (affidavit of support), G-325A (one for each of you), I-765
(for work authorization card), and I-131 (for advance parole if you need to
travel out/back into US, and are not over 179 days out of status).
You will need some supporting documentation with these forms, including
certified copy of marriage certificate, certified copies of both of your
birth certificates (and yours translated if needed), last 3 years of Us
citizen's tax returns, letter from Us citizen's employer confirming that
he/she currently earns 125% of the poverty level. If US citizen's income
does not meet these requirements, you can have a co-sponsor who does.
(Co-sponsor's income must be adequate for co-sponsor's entire family plus
the immigrant spouse).

Fees: I-485: $220, I-765: $100, I-131: $95. The other forms listed have no
fee.

File with your local INS office.

We just got a letter from the Atlanta INS that said "Reason for
Appointment: Application for Adjustment of Status". And it had a time
and place. Is this the actual interview for the Adjustment of Status.
Is this the green card interview?

They said within 30 months and it has only been four months.

That's the letter! Exciting isn't it? :-)
I got my letter last week from San Antonio saying the same thing.
Are you a K1? It kind of looks like they're doing something new with K1
adjustments. I only waited around 3 months for mine. Two more weeks and I'm
a conditional permanent resident!

This is exciting! My wife is a K1.

When I saw the 30 month statement on the first letter, we were
expecting a long hall. We were hearing that the Atlanta process was
very slow compared to others. So it was more than a pleasant surprise.

I filed my AOS in Phoenix in January of 1998. I have renewed my EAD and AP
twice now. Does anyone know what the current waiting time is here in AZ? I
have never recieved a NOA. Should I be concerned about this? The constant
renewing of docs (never mind the added cost) is getting frustrating. The
EAD & AP should be good till AOS goes thur.

On Matt Udall's pages he has Phoenix reporting a timeline of 1140 to 1260
days.
