Definition of Friendly Fire: Personnel of the same uniform inflicting
fatal force upon mistakenly identifying fellow personnel as the enemy.
During the first Gulf War fifty-one percent of Americans were killed
by Americans. Other wars have had large friendly-fire casualties.
