Hello!

(NOTE LONG POST)
First, I understand the collectablity of the of the home carts,
especially when you have mint boxes and everything, and why they are
more expensive than MVS carts. On the other hand, I expect that some
of you really want to just play the games, and have fun without having
to part with your right arm to get the carts. For these people, I
would suggest an MVS system with a supergun. The supergun comes with a
JAMMA connection to attach to the motherboards. About 98% of all
motherboards made after 1985 are JAMMA motherboards (1986 is when JAMMA
became the "standard"). Of special interest, is that these supergun
will open you to several thousands of other arcade pcbs that you can
play on your TV, and with certain adaptors, you can play another
thousand or two more! These superguns come with great controllers made
out of new arcade joysticks and Happ buttons (Happ is the best in the
industry). I think the joysticks are also Happ joysticks.

I have over 600 arcade motherboards for sale and I am a just a small
seller! The controllers also have six buttons each. How would you
like to play Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3? These pcbs (printed circuit
boards - aka motherboards) run about $50-$65 dollars each for UMK3.
How would you like to play Ms Pacman, or Galaga, or Joust, Stargate,
Robotron, Defender or Donkey Kong? With an adaptor, these games can
run through a JAMMA connection.

I was just checking to see if there is anyone who might be interested
in the following package:

(1) Supergun that will play JAMMA arcade game pcbs on your TV. This
comes with two awesome arcade quality controllers. These would be GW
Trading Company's HGA. Here is a website so you can learn more about
the HGA:

Here is the FAQ on the HGA:

Here is a list of Neo Geo MVS carts that they sell. Often I can beat
their prices, but they definitely have a greater selection than I do.
Also, 2/3rds of my carts are Japanese, which makes them even less
expensive. Note that if you have a USA MVS motherboard, vitually all
Japanese carts will play in English. I have included my prices for the
carts I have at the end of the line in parenthesis:

I have English Metal Slug 3 full kits with manual and graphics for $325

The cost of the HGA is $300 + $30-$35 shipping. If you want, I will
include it with this package, or you can buy from them direct. If I do
it, I will charge you the exact cost, and just have them ship it to
you. I don't make any money off of this, GW is selling these at their
cost, so nobody gets a discount. The idea is that when they are
selling more of these, they can start earning money, but for right now,
$300 is their cost. I would never consider MAS Systems supergun,
vitually everyone I know who has dealt with them has had a bad
experience. The just dropped everything and hibernated for eight
months recently, even on people's orders that had been paid for. No
emails, nothing, dropped their website and disappeared. They have been
up for a couple of months now, but I will not use them.

Next, I will include a 1-slot small MVS motherboard for $150, or a 4-
slot motherboard for $250 or a 6-slot motherboard for $300. I will then
package in a mixture of carts for you, prices will vary on what you
want.

When I see this (not to snuff this website at all, I am sure it is very
useful and complete) how much the home console games sell for, my jaw
drops. I have added current market prices on some of these for the MVS

Again, sorry for the long sort-of redundant message, but please let me
know if anyone would be interested in getting this one-stop package,
which will get you immediately going in the MVS market. Note that
there are hundreds of MVS Neo Geo items on eBay at any given time, and
a thousand arcade pcbs for sale an any given time.

Thank you for your consideration, just let me know if anyone is
possibly interested. I always have a DOD warrantee, and always provide
tech help after any sale. I get by on repeat customers and positive
word of mouth.

Thanks!

John

Your review is basically straight on, I just have a few updates for you:

1) They have replaced the joysticks with newer ones.

2) They have made the wiring harness better.

3) The S-Video connection has been improved for better quality.

4) they have RGB controls for red, green and blue inside the box.

I also have the same problems with the wire covering pulling out from
the connectors. I did tape mine up. Also the trim has started to
peel, but I just stick a little glue in there and problem was fixed.

Craftmanship could be better, but I just talked to the manager at GW,
and she said they are now re-working the HGA's for better quality
before they go out the door. They have also demanded better
workmanship from the manufacturer.

I will agree that the MAS units look much sharper, but I shudder to
think about ordering from them.

Thank you for leaving your reply with a link to your review, it was a
good assessment of the system.
