There seems to be some confusion as to it's spelling.
Bloomberg TV
====
The channels which are in bold on that webpage are not available on
C-Band. It is possible that these channels are available through a 4DTV
receiver on the DIGITAL side. None of these channels are available on the
C-Band analog side. If, by chance, they are available on C-Band they are
available as a free feed they have not informed us that they are now
available on C-Band. If you have a location on the analog C-Band side
please let us know.
Thanks,
C-Band Webmaster
I want to encourage aother people to do the same. These blatant lies by these providers is
an insult to the C-Band community.
Also if anybody has received any mailings from these providers containing the false
advertising I urge you fo conatact your state's Attorny General. These mailing can be in the
form of ads or in the monthy publication that these providers mail to their customers.
I know of a few people that have contactedd their state's Attorny General and are making
some progress with them ... one person I am thinking of told me that his AG is preparing a
case.

But I am attempting to limit my arguments to channels that are available in analog.
videocipher and are in the 4DTV's IPG. Some of the channels mentioned at the web site are
available DVB FTA. Most of them are listed on these provider's web sites as being available
by subscription.
http://www.superstar.com/4dtv_index.asp lists TechTV as unavailable on C-Band. As you know
this channel is on C4 12 NTSC non-encrypted. I had informed the FTV of the fraudulent claims
at that URL in another message to them.

These providers claim those feeds are not available on C-Band
There was not mention in any of their ads mentioning analog C-Band. These same people sell
subscriptions to most of these channels for 4DTV, therefore they know that they are
available and are intentionally misleading in their ads.
They are available on C-Band.
4DTV is C-Band

C-band is C-band, be it analog or digital. The website ad says they are
not available on C-band. This is plain WRONG and they know it. It is
propaganda to sell DISH systems, plain and simple.

Anyway, something that MIGHT do some good, though I doubt it, is to email
all the channels that are incorrectly on that list, see if they respond and
pressure superstar.

For Christ's sake leave well alone, writing to the programmers
is a dumb idea. How many channels have we lost in the past
due to do-gooders.

I remeber when Leo wore a suit. They did a whole day when the the DOJ vs
MS
suit was launched, a week into then ZDTV.
I agree that the afore mentioned channels are on C-band. And, yes it's
a lie to say they are not available on C-band especially when they are
on 4DTV . That wasn't my confusion here. DRLev in the post I was
replying to had this in it:
>But I am attempting to limit my arguments to channels that are available in >analog. videocipher and are in the 4DTV's IPG. Some of the channels >mentioned at the web site are available DVB FTA. Most of them are listed >on these provider's web sites as being available by subscription.
Now, none of the channels he listed are analog (with the exception of
Tech TV) nor are they Videocipher. I was just seeking a bit of
clarification here. You need to get your info right if your going to
try complaining to somebody like your state Attorney Generals office
(As he suggested doing).
