Would it be worth time and money to get KU band for my dish?

Does mpeg2 have much on it? is it worth getting? Does it need
KU band?

Thanks

I have both C/Ku...but I'm busy with projects, so I don't watch either
much these days.

For myself, there would be a few channels on Ku....but until I get
another MPEG receiver, with HD, I won't be watching any.

There is tons of tv on Ku FTA. However, the majority of the HD is still on
CBand FTA. however, that is all digital now too. CSPAN is discontinuing
it's analog feeds on CBand so there really isn't much left for analog or
VCII+ up there. 4DTV is still going to strong, however. There is some DCII
FTA up there as well, but so far the only thing that can get it is a 4DTV
box. To get the free channels, though, you have to subscribe to at least
on 4dtv channel to get teh box activated. I would still stick with FTA
MPEG2 and 4 for good programming.
