All that means is your dish is not "locked on " to a digital or DC2
signal. You will have to adjust your dish until you receive a signal
lock.it is merely a light to tell you you are not tuned to any channel
(or more likely not a satellite).
Press OPTIONS 6,4,4 and you can try to "autopeak" and "autoskew" the
signal in if it is not too far off the programming slot.Just hit the
particular satellite you want to adjust after hitting OPTIONS 6,4,4,then
hit line 3 once, then hit line 5 once.If that does not lock in the signal
you will have to adjust it manually using lines 2 and lines 4
respectively using the tuning indicator numbers below it to tell you
whether you are decreasing the signal or increasing it.When doing it
manually, adjust the dish position first to get a signal, then and only
then adjust the skew angle until you get a fine tuned picture.I have a
920,but a 922 should be similar in nature to signal adjustment and
control.
Hope this helps.
If none of this works, there may be other issues involved as your dish
may be misaligned off of the satellite arc,or your LNB polarizer is not
working properly.(The little antenna inside the cone on the end of your
dish that adjusts the skew or ground plane of the signal vertical or
horizontal.)
