So what is the deal with W5? I tried to put that one in today and it
won't go? It's there in the menu but when I try to set it up it
doesn't go and jumps to another satellite instead?

This is a 920

Never mind on this one but I do have another question. Is there
anything free worth watching on that bird? If not, then I'm not going
to go to the trouble to reprogram it.

Yes. Many of those HITS channels are in the clear...at least for now.
Movie channels, etc. Very similar to what is in the clear on X4. And
X4 is going away at the end of the month.

Take care,
Rich

Even though he's dead it makes about much sense
to vote for him as it does for the choices
that we have who are living. At least he's not
going change his position on anything.

Not all, but many of them are. I can't promise they'll be that way
tomorrow, but they have been for a while.

Nothing special needed. A 4DTV receiver programmed with the channel map
for W5, a C-band dish and an LNB stable enough for 4DTV reception. And,
of course a clear view of W5.

Is it currently getting the channel mapping? I would think if it is you
should be to receive the HITS channels. Someone else would need to
answer that question, to be certain. I don't know enough about the
DSR-920, other than it is a 4DTV receiver, to know for certain.
