Sony SAT-T60 video Quality

Can a few of you guys with this unit comment on the video quality of
recorded programming of this unit? I'm probably going to be buying one of
these very soon, and would like your input.

It's very good; as good as DirecTV :-) .

It records the DirecTV data stream exactly, no additional encoding.
So, it's as good as its MPEG decoder. You'd have to compare it to
other DirecTV receivers if you're wondering about the quality. In
my opinion, it's excellent.

It looks as good (or as bad) as the DirecTV stream your unit receives.

That being said, the T60 looks much better than my old B-whatsit unit,
using the same antenna placement, the same antenna cable, and the same
cables to the TV.
