Hi all,

I am a bit confused as to what I need to do with my unsubscribed ReplayTV. I
discontinued my subscription about a year ago and put it in the closet. So, do
I just plug it in and turn it on and give it internet access as usual so it
doesn't turn into a brick after 7/31? If I do before 7/31 what happens and if I
don't what happens? Thanx.

If you plug it in and let it do a net connect, it will change its
activation status to a non-expiring "activated". That status
does not look for an activation server, unlike the "lifetime" and
monthly units.

If you don't, it will not be able to find an activation server
after 7/31 and will, presumably, no longer function.

There will be a need to activate Replays after that date. You may get
one used (but not activated) or may need to replace the hard drive.
Maybe it's a good idea to save a drive image now.
