What Hammer titles have been released so far by Elite? I saw tons of
Hammer titles on VHS on a VHS retail store. Rasputin, Chris Lee's
VAMPIRE movies etc. Why are these so popular among cultists? And of
course, how are the new Elite transfers?

Thanks in advance

So far, we've had: Dracula - Prince of Darkness, RM W/S Fully Uncut
(extra seconds of staking CUs) with running audio track by B. Shelley, C.
Lee (great raconteur), S. Farmer (normally v. shy), et al., plus Plague of
the Zombies - first time in widescreen; both are excellent.

Due out tomorrow are: The Reptile (W/S) and Rasputin - the Mad Monk
(+running audio) - I hope to have them by this weekend. Quatermass & the
pit with running audio seems to be delayed a little, I haven't seen it on
the LD release schedules.

Elite seem to be running at 2 titles per month; I forget which 2 are due
out next month. Also not sure if any Anchor Bay videos have been released
as yet; it would be nice to see what Viking Queen is really like?

Anchor Bay is ahead of Elite on releases...RASPUTIN and THE REPTILE have been
in the stores for a while, and someone told me that LOST CONTINENT is due soon
(not sure on that, but I'm going to Suncoast tonight and will look that up).

Best thing one can say about THE VIKING QUEEN is that it isn't nearly as dull
as VENGEANCE OF SHE...close enough, tho. These two I'll pick up to make my
Hammer collection complete, but probably only on VHS.
