I've a number of Laser Discs that have been superceded by DVD and Blu-
ray copies. I'd gladly sell these discs if I had the appropriate
packaging to assure undamaged delivery by UPS or USPS.

Can anyone provide info on packaging of LDs?

"Assure" is hard, but various vendors sell appropriate cardboard
mailers; for example:

I'd also use a cardboard insert for stiffness, and possibly bubble wrap
as well.

Thanks! Those boxes look exactly like what I need. Back in the heyday
of LDs I could ask any of the stores for "pizza boxes" and they'd give
me as many as I needed. That's a while back though.

Along with using a record mailer its also good practice to ship the LD
in the paper sleeve outside of the jacket. Using a layer or bubble wrap
and flat cardboard will also prevent the disc from sliding around.
Keeping outside of the jacket will prevent the jacket from being split.

I found that the ideal thing was to use a plastic jacket protector to
hold both the disc jacket and the removed disc, together. This really
prevents movement of the disc and eliminates the chance that the disc
might put friction marks on the jacket itself.
