Whenever I put in a LD, the machine tells me "no disc". Odd part is I started Back to the Future, left the room for about 1/2 hour and when I came back the movie was stopped and I started getting the no disc error. I've tried several movies, all with the same result.
Any suggestions?
Where can I find a list of repair centers?
Thanks,
Joe

Well, I unplugged the unit for about 20 minutes. It seems to recognize the discs now, but they break up and cut out after a few seconds. Looks like I'll probably have to take it in for repair. Besides that, I've been having problems with the eject button not working all the time.
**Sigh**

Could be a couple things. The eject button not always working could be a dirty LD clamp, just needs cleaning. The play problem could be the Spindle motor. If you are in the Washington DC area I could look at it for you.
