"If there is any drawback to the enhanced quality of the images, it
appears in close-ups of the cheesy make-up effects and the obviously
rubber 'reptilian' shirt Paul Webster sports late in the film. The
'scales' on his face look like they were drawn on with an eyebrow
pencil; and I won't even mention the alligator head mask seen in the
film's final moments."

CONDUCT ZERO (reviewed by Joel Pearce, overall score 88/100):
"Yeah, Conduct Zero isn't destined to become the next Casablanca, or
even the next When Harry Met Sally. I'm not sure it's even comparable to
Ferris Bueller's Day Off. In the overall wasteland of teen comedy,

"It is easy to see why this idea appealed to Hitchcock, a man obsessed
with the Kafkaesque idea of being falsely accused of a crime. Hitchcock
used this theme time and again in many of his best pictures (North by
Northwest, The 39 Steps, etc.). Had I Confess followed through on its
convictions and spent more time on the priest's inner conflict, it might
have been among the master's greatest works."

"The Super Milk-Chan Show is the dictionary definition of psychotic
(which, by the way, is 'suffering from a mental illness in which contact
with reality is lost or highly distorted'). Like combining Ren and
Stimpy with Hello Kitty and sprinkling the whole insanity with layers of
crack cocaine, this addictive irreverence is classic cartoon chaos at
its most sublime."

"If you have unruly children, and are unable to find any lumps of coal
this Christmas, Zentrix will make the perfect stocking stuffer. This
isn't the worst thing I've ever seen, but that's only because I've seen
Caligula."
