Copying dvd's

Merry christmas to all in here.
Now, i came across an idea when copying dvd's and or converting to avi files
or the like. At first i couldnt get all 4 parts off a dvd, then i reme,bered
about cleaning both the dvd unit and the disc. After cleaning with proper
fluid, all 4 parts appeared, so when ripping or copying any dvd, make sure
the dvd unit is clean and the dvd.
Thanks to all those who gave help. The problem is solved, and no dvd shrink
dosnt work on protected dvd's
