I have:installed
Windows 7 home premium edition
Nero 9 Trial Version
DVD Shrink--current version

I have prepared files to be burned onto a DVD disk using the REAUTHOR
portion of DVD Shrink, but when I
go into the BACKUP mode, there is a red message appearing saying that
to burn a dvd I need to install
Nero backup software.

This is frustrating because I HAVE installed Nero 9 Trial vsn which is
supposed to be fully compatible for a limited # of days, which have
not yet expired.

Any clues on how I can get DVD Shrink to recognized that Nero is
indeed installed?
best, Aaron

You could just download and install DVDDecrypter, Shrink seems to take a
liking to using it to burn its DVDs. That's what I have always used.

Yes, and IIRC, you don't have to burn the output of DVD Shrink from
within the programme. Can't you just run Nero and burn the result
from there?

note to all of the good people who responded to my post. PROBLEM
SOLVED.
I was referred by a viewer on a DVD SHRINK forum site to go to the
following site

http://rapidshare.com/files/35280436/Shrink_w_ImgBurn.rar

which directed me to a site whereby I could download a copy of DVD
SHRINK setup to
automatically use ImgBurn burning software.

Apparently ImgBurn is compatible with Windows 7, DVD Shrink and is
free (donations welcomed).
It worked perfectly in enablling me to burn a DVD disk prepared by DVD
Shrink.

All is well! Forums such as these and others are where it matters in
the spirit of SHARING.
