Can you guys list the methods and programs used to burn DL discs. I
have had issues with the layer break. I used Dvd Shrink to backup to
my hard drive, then Nero 6 to write it to the DL disc. The movies I
have copied this way start to skip and jump and the half way point into
the film.

I use AnyDVD for decryption, and CloneDVD to copy; I also use Nero 7 with no
layer break issues whatsoever. I had no layer break issues way back when I
used to use Nero 6. I would suggest it is your burner...cheaper (less
expensive) burners often have trouble with the transition. I would also
suggest you try different brands of Dual Layer discs; perhaps your burner is
optimized for a particular brand or formulation of blank discs.

I'd just like to add that you could try Ashshampoo Burning studio which was
Free download until January then after you have to pay for it.
( This also does Blu-ray so easily copes with DL Discs)

Been there, done that, and it does not have the ease or the flexibility of
CloneDVD2.

Thanks for the reply Honu. I actually own 2 dvd burners. One is the
Sony 700UL and the other is an HP. I'm going to try using different
media as you suggest. I have been using Memorex DL.
