But what are they rated on? Consumer Reports is notorious in
sci.electronics.repair for rating electronic stuff by criteria
that are bougus.

I wish somebody would get several miles of coax, some attenuators, an
ATSC signal generator and build up a "multipath from hell" test bench
and run all these things thru it.

Values for co-, adjacent- and taboo-channel rejection
thresholds and static echo-delay tolerance are also given.

In my limited experience, the NTIA requirements seem too
lenient, I didn't expect so much ATSC reception variation in
NTIA approved STBs.
