need help with vitualdub or other video editing sofware

Hi all

We are recording our church sermon on digital video camera.. We have worship
first then the message. We recorded the whole thing without stopping. We
would like to make 2 different files using video editor. We want to upload
them for other members of church to see who were not able to make it. I am
trying to use Virtualdub. I figured out how to point to where we want the
video started and ended for the first file. Now I need to find out how do I
make 2 diff. files? Do I copy paste on something else or what do I do? Is
there an easy software that is free? The camera records in .AVi file.
