Kool! Many years ago, I found a website that did just that...posted
the happenings from _Dracula_ on the days they happened in the
diaries, letters, and newspaper items. It was great fun as well as a
new way to read the novel...reading the events as they happened
in real time. Took a while, though, since the novel spans the time
between May and November, so it takes some dedication to stick
with it for six months.
Only problems that I can see are (1) it's already August, but the
story starts in May, so does the reader lose three months of
entries or do they have to wait until next year to read it in its
entirety, and (2) I'm reluctant to share my email address with any
site that may require me to subscribe. Such sites are often set
up for email gathering in order to spam or sell to other
advertisers your email address.
Still, for fans of the novel, reading _Dracula_ in real time is truly
a fun experience. I'll be following along with my well-worn copy,
and it would be great to get a day-by-day discussion about each
entry.
