Thanks, Don. Actually, I did move recently, and I was offline for a
short while when getting my internet service reconnected. I don't
intend to disappear, but I wonder whether it would be better for me to
leave alt.vampyres before I pass. Some of our favorite people over the
years -- Richard Morrison, Kitsune, Lightshade, Cheryl Noritake -- all
remembered with fondness, have passed before us. I guess that I'm
thinking about the day it's my turn.

Lest he is looking down on me and shaking his finger, I apologize for
the misspelling. It is Brightshade (aka Brytshade), not Lightshade.
What was I thinking?!!!

The last time I spoke to her about a.v, she wasn't interested in returning. I'll let her know you asked about her.

Thank you. As I recall, she seemed to hold things together. So, I thought she would know something about everyone's status, if anyone did.

I thought it would never end I kinda miss it now, now we're in the real digital age of VR group meetings playing a vampire for real, but it crushes creativity as we did in alt.Vampires.

This group was certainly one of the most creative places on-line. Nothing has
ever come close to matching how it was in its heyday.

I'm back and kicking. Had a problem last year when my computer crashed, but it's
now up and running, although I'm having difficulty figuring out how to use all the
new programs that the computer tech installed.

Worst news is that, earlier this year, I slipped on some ice and broke by leg. Ended
up in the hospital, was whisked into surgery, spent three days in ICU, and received
three units of blood. But I'm improving, no longer walking with crutches, and I'm so
pleased to see this group coming alive again.
