The Wampyr was never (recordedly) used on the Sturmgewehr. The
inefficient muzzle brake produced so much flash it was deemed useless in
that combination. It was used on the FG-42 and KAR-98K battle rifles,
and according to some sources, the MP-40 subgun (not all that likely).
