I'm planning to visit Las Vegas in early April.
This is my 2nd visit, the first being Christmas week 2001.
One of the things I noticed during the first visit was that the hotels we
stayed at didn't have indoor pools.

My questions:
1) Is it warm enough in Vegas in late March/early April to swim in outdoor
pools?
and
2) Are there hotels on the Strip with indoor pools?

Thanks in advance.

We saw people in outdoor pools last weekend (Mirage, I think). That
pool may be heated. Ask the hotel where you're thinking about staying.

Weather is unpredictable. Most hotel pools open as weather permits sometime
during the month of April. They will temporarily close the pools if the
weather brings rain or high winds.

Someone here reported that the MGM keeps one of its pools heated for
year-round use.

During the colder months the Tropicana uses a glass partition to enclose the
covered section of its large main pool by the hotel's Island Tower. The pool
and surrounding indoor area are kept heated to a comfortable level. There is
also a jacuzzi there.

The Tropicana's smaller outdoor pool that is normally designated for adult
use is also kept open during the winter and is comfortably heated even
during the coldest weather. And temperatures sometimes drop below freezing
on winter nights in Las Vegas.

Both of these pools can be used 24 hours by hotel guests. The outdoor
jacuzzi is also open year around.
