Its in the Luxor on the attractions floor. Don't remember exactly how
much the tickets are, but I believe they're in the $12 range.

There are two, one at Caesars and one at Luxor.
The Luxor IMAX presents films in both 3-D and 2-D formats. Luxor is currently
presenting "Michael Jordan to the Max," "Mysteries of Egypt," and a new film
called "Cyberworld 3D," which is a series of animated segments including one
of The Simpsons.

I was hoping to see the Galapagos IMAX film on my next trip. Is that gone from
the Luxor?
-Burt
I don't believe it's playing there right now.

Follow-up to my last reply....
Called Caesars to find out what's playing in their IMAX theater and learned that
the theater has been closed.
So that leaves just the Luxor.

I also believe that Galapagos is not playing at the Luxor.
However, both the Luxor and Caesars also have new interactive IMAX
rides (attractions). I think they are _quite_ similiar. I took
the one at the Luxor. I think it is called Tomb Raider or something
like that and is about aliens, pyramids, and archeology. The one at
Caesars is called Neptunes Quest or something like that. I suspect
it is much the same as the Luxor one, but the 'plot' is more like
SeaQuest & Underwater/Submarine adventure in nature.
I think it was just about 30 minutes for the ride, but groups leave
every 15 minutes or so. You actually 'process' thru rooms and
chambers, with the group ahead of you moving ahead of you. The
'real' actual 'ride' simulator is at the end, and there are several
of them, so you can take one down and hose it out after a group if
needed.
If you have ever experienced sea sickness, air sickness, motion
sickness of any kind, you may want to consider taking a pass on
the final segment of the ride. In both of them, you get into a
small, cramped, steel seating area that is connected to hydraulic
rams. As the movie plays ahead of you, the 'ride' is thrown back
and forth, up and down, side to side, etc by these hydraulic rams.
I'd describe it as quite powerfull and fairly 'violent' motions.
Besides the age and size limitations, there is a fairly extensive
list of medical conditions that they warn you, that you should not
attempt to take the ride.

The ride at Ceasar's is Race for Atlantis. The Luxor's is In Search
of the Obelisk. The Caesar's ride is a 3D Imax ride. The Luxor's is
not 3D, but rather just wrap around widescreen. If you can only do
one, do Caesar's.
As for theaters.... Caesar's had an Omnimax theater, not an IMAX.
Omnimax uses a wrap around dome shaped screen to completely fill your
peripheral vision. But no matter, they closed it down months ago.
Luxor has an IMAX upstairs. It's quite a nice venue. Their website
shows what's currently playing but I've found that it's not always
accurate.

There are several Imax theaters. The Luxor has an interesting Imax
show. If I recall correctly, its $8.95 per ticket. There's a sort of
Imax kind of thing at Cesar's called Atlantis which is a 3-d kind
of experience where you are in a virtual reality kind of environment
participating in a race to save the ancient city of Atlantis.
That's a shame. I like those movies a lot. Have you checked the Imax stock
price chart? Sad very sad.

That was the galapagos feature. I believe it has been replaced by the
3d animation feature.
