have lived in many cities you are one of the least cosmopolitan human
beings I have come across. Let's just take NYC, since that is the city
I am most familiar with. How about twenty some odd Broadway theaters.
Another twenty off-Broadway theaters. And who knows how many off-off
Broadway theaters. Mix in large venues like Madison Square, Nassau
Coliseum and the Meadowlands(both stadium and arena). All of which
produce major shows with major stars besides sporting events. Through
in Radio City and the three major venues at Lincoln Center. Add the
Beacon theater, jazz clubs, rock clubs, and blues clubs of various
sizes and I guess you get my drift.
Only in Vegas my ass. As I said what makes Vegas, Vegas, is the
combination of food, gambling,entertainment,gambling,funny looking
hotels, gambling and gambling. I love Vegas. It is an incredible place
to go for four or five days but take away the gambling and leave
everything else, do you honestly think it compares to any major city in
any category. First of all, it isn't a major city. That being said, it
is my favorite short trip destination.

I went to NYC once. I am happy to tell you that I was intimidated by the
size, the freaking size of the city!! That city is so big and beautiful
that I was agaw. The subway is great. Someone kept grabbing my ass, but the
train was to crowded to find out who was doing it, ... and tell them thank
you. :)
