online world gone bad

This Online world does not seem to be that great of place to find love and
knowledge or anything other then Spam and other abusive advertisements. It
seems I am searching in the wrong places because everywhere I go I see nothing
but porn advertisements and nasty people that seem to derive pleasure from
annoying everyone with anonymity. The internet use to be about sharing ideas
and passion for certain topics freely. Marketers and entrepreneurs are turning
aol and the internet into a very ugly place. Everywhere you go someone is
trying to squeeze another penny out of you. The information and the connection
to other people has become unusable. I try to filter all the junk out but in
doing so I prevent a lot of people that i want to talk to from reaching me. I
would like the government to step in but I doubt they will because the only
thing they hear is money talking to them. I am losing faith in a lot of things
lately ....... Does anyone out there feel the
same way???????
