Greetings and Salutations

Help - I've lost the date column. Some Subject lines go on forever,
and while trying to widen the column, got into the problem that the
"Date" field has too much white space is too wide, and I can't get it
to just use the right amount of pixels in order to just show the date.

And somehow, while trying to expand the Author column, I got the same
problem - The Author" column has more excess white space, and the Date
Column is shoved off the screen ... wait one, idea forming in my brain
...

Okay, that worked. Shrunk the window from "full screen " to partial
(that little 'doubled window' button up their next to the X bot),
shoved the window 'left' and then stretched the right edge till I
found it (making the Agent window wider than the screen). Much
fiddling to get it back to 'normal' but that worked.

Okay, question two - does anyone know of fix in the INI file? I have
a similar issue in IfranView, repeated use of the rename feature has
the popup window migrating left across the screen, out of view and
down the street. The only fix I have for that is to drag it back
before it completely disappears, or go into the INI file and edit the
location values.
Is there something like this in the Agent INI files?

Of yes, I'm running WinXPHomeSp3 with dual overhead windshield wiper
knobs, Chromed Muffler Bearings and Agent 3.3/32.846

now, what was I doing before I was interrupted by whatever it was that
lead to this digression?

1. Go to http://groups.google.com/groups/advanced_search

*** And bookmark this web page so you can use it again. ***

2. In the "all these words" box, enter: lost date column

3. In the "group" box, enter: alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent

4. Click the "Advanced Search" button.

See those search results from Google Groups Advanced Search.
You are not the first to ask this question, and there are
already answers in the Google Groups
