In Outlook, you can (generally, when it works) accept an invitation
with comments, accept without comments or reject. Each sends a note
back to the inviter, and the first two automatically add the
appointment into your Outlook calendar.
I'll skip functionality that relies on an Exchange server, since Agent
doesn't (and surely won't) ever talk to one.

It's certainly possible - just a matter of programming. But how much
need is there? You can do it yourself into your preferred calendaring
application with a little bit of copy and paste.
