Using Agent 5, just tonite I'm seeing new behavior.

When I try to make a new NG post or reply to an NG post a tab opens up
that seems to indicate the presence of a new "document", but there is
no place to type anything.

e.g. http://tinyurl.com/yjjpbho

Have I fat-fingered some setting to get the tabbed presentation?

If so, where is the empty message for me to type in to?

If not, what's going on?

It's got tb something I've done, but what?

Can anybody elucidate.

Oops!... Now, after re-starting Agent for about the third time,
it seems tb working as one would expect:

So, no more problem - although it would be nice to hear some
theories on what was going on...

I'm well beyond being able to reproduce it - to the point where I have
to use GoogleGroups to reply to messages.

Sometimes bouncing Agent does the trick, other times it does not.

I'd call this a significant bug in 5.0.

I have a few questions for you :)
Are you using Agent with the internal window Maximized ((Window controls will
appear on the Menu Bar)?
Do you see a "tab" starting with " RE:"?
Does it have Focus (The "X" on the tab is Red)?

Any thoughts on how to kludge those "Pos" numbers so the window is
visible?

Do "Window -> Cascade" to bring the window back on screen.

Put a ; on the front of the Pos line which will make it a comment and
force Agent to create a default one. I think.

Thanks Carroll: that did the trick.

Now that I've done it, it seems like I've been here before with
5.0 and somebody gave me the same tip. Maybe this time it will
soak in.

Can anybody suggest how I'm getting myself into the situation in
the first place.
