Can you cause every group in a folder to sort by date-ascending? 4.2
I want this to be the default behavior, and I do each group
separately, but some how it keeps inverting to sort by subject.

Not sure about 4.2 but in version 5. you can click on the blue arrow

you are sorting by subject and you don't do this, there won't be an
arrow there.

Sometimes I sort a group or two by subject and don't change it back,
but at times when I find I have "get new headers" twice, the second
best thing is to just sort by date and have the new messages at the
top.

Highlight all of the groups which you want to sort, and then use
