Is there a way to get more fields to display in the Find Global results?

I think it would be a substantial benefit to include the fields for [Date] and [From].

Click the "View All" button. This will show the Find Global results,
including the fields for [Date] and [From], in the message list pane.

In case you happen to be searching more than one folder:
1) Select a result in the find global window;
2) Then click the "View All" button;
to show the Find Global results, including the fields for [Date] and
[From], for the same folder as the result you just selected.

Thanks Ralph.

I promise to be smarter in my next life.

I'm almost sure that your solution (above) worked beautifully, back in May of 2020, but now
when I click (with the mouse) on "View All", Agent summarily closes. Agent version 8, and I
would have been using version 8 since late January of 2020.

Any ideas?

Correction: *Agent* doesn't close--only the Global Search window closes.

I believe that's working as designed.

It gives you a view with all and only those messages which match the
search, but in doing so it closes the search window. When you want it
back, hit Ctrl-G and it'll come back for you.

As Arthur says, this is working as designed.

Clicking "View All" will shows you the Find Global results in the *message list pane*,
where you can see the fields for [Date] and [From]. It also temporarily closes the
Find Global window, so that the Find Global window does not get in the way of seeing
the *message list pane*.

If you want the Find Global window back with its search results, just press Ctrl+G
as Arthur has replied.

I'm always glad to have my replies vetted by an expert. And I'm sure
that OPs are more confident when an expert chimes in, even if it is
mostly just to corroborate a previous reply.
