Congratulations on your promotion! I'd like to hear all about it.
Sorry to hear the quake is crumbling somewhat. What do you do for fun these
days? Work? Harrass servers?

As you just moved into royalty, I just moved out. I am now in a sort of
senior engineering position and going through one of those 'what do I want
to do with my life' phases. Interestingly, two friends have recently
suggested that I become a lawyer, one of whom did not even know that I was
at one point planning to do so. I thought it was an outlandish idea at this
point in life but it has been growing on me for a week now. An application
packet from the local law school is on its way. There's probably a way
less than 50% chance that I will do this but I want to give it due
consideration. Your thoughts would of course be very valuable.

if it had been a problem before, I would have said something before.

"Immediately (after 9/11), numerous government officials from FAA
as well as other government agencies made defensive statements such
as, 'How could we have known this was going to happen?'. "The truth is, they

Yes, a lot of that. Been very busy. But good.
Harrass servers?
Restaraunt or Internet?

Good luck. There are all varieties of law, from business and corporate
(most of it) to the court room stuff. If you have an interest, good
luck!
Hope all goes well. Best to you :)
