Resources for ELT and TOEFL

Hello everybody,

I apologize if this should not be the appropriate NG for my inquiry,
but would you please share your knowledge on newsletters, newsgroups and
homepages offering learning and teaching materials for English as a foreign
language?

I'm preparing a course for German students of English which focusses on
English language acquisition with the help of Internet resources. This will
imply a fairly broad teaching approach to students from intermediate to
advanced levels of English. Please let me know, if you don't mind telling me
about any (preferably non commercial) gems in the depths of Cyberspace

Finally, someone turned up many sites with the Yahoo search engine. You
should probably start afresh at www.yahoo.com, but the URL that was
produced at the time was:

It would be great if you would let us know which of these sites (or
