I define a macho man as someone with plenty of aggressive or outward virility
and pride at the power of (his) male sexuality, but is there a word for a
macho woman? I don´t mean just any female who is aware of her attractiveness
to men, but one who is great in the hay, too, and proud of it and not shy
about it (but not always wearing a pair of pumps and whatever).

Nonsense! Macha is the Spanish derivation of Ernst Mach, an
Austrian test pilot who was the first man to exceed the speed
of sound in unlevite flight (a Sopworth Camel in 1916) because
he was late for an important bar mitvah.

You macha my words.

Hence the expression "Mach schnell!"

In Spanish, "marimacho". (Mari from Maria) And the word has been listed in
the Dictionary of Royal Academy of Spanish from "way back". Also, although it
is defined in that dictionary as a woman with male-like characteristics
"marimacho" is the most common term for "lesbian", at least in Mexico.

Lower social strata people call them "tortilleras". If you have ever heard the
sound of tortilla dough being slapped into shape by hand you should be able to
figure out the reasoning behind the term.

And for those reared on a farm, "tortillera, tortilleando, etc" are terms
related to what goes on in the pasture when a cow starts "bulling".

Well, 'macho' is the Spanish word for male, with a secondary meaning of tough or
brave. 'Hembra' is the Spanish word for female, with a secondary meaning of 'real
female'. If you want to borrow 'hembra' into English, feel free!

there are several words that might be appropriate depending on the woman.
Usually a woman that displays a mannish appearance is called "butch" but
this usually is a synonym for "lesbian." A very derrogatory term for an
assertive or strong-willed woman would be "bitch." Or if you're speaking of
a woman who is sexually assertive, she might be a "vixen", or if you're in
high school, a "slut."

not necessarily use or condone the use of these words.

Vamp, sexpot, bombshell, femme fatale, flirt, coquette. Take your
pick -- unless you wanted another sort of word.

Not sure where lack of pumps come in - but how about "sans culottes"?
