Aren't you the guy who regularly digs 20 or 30 years into the past
for just the right quote? But it's too difficult for you to search
for "free jazz" in Google? It's the first hit.

It says its a style of Avant garde jazz, which I had already mentioned. Avant garde? Did that even originate in the United States?
