She doesn't spend any moment at all thinking about him. The "precious"
refers to the rarity of those non-existent moments.

Another possible take: she sees her moments as too precious to be
spent on a guy like him.
Thus not about rarity, but about the relative price of time.

But compare this usage example (from AHD):
"Used as an intensive: 'He had precious little right to complain'
(James Agee)."

"Precious" is often used to mean actual preciousness, but not here, I
think. It's not trying to say that every one of her moments is
precious, nor that only her non-precious moments are reserved, but
that she wastes not a single moment on thoughts of him. If she had
spent a second in thought about him, _he_ might consider that a
precious moment, but there isn't any such.
