ssh for Unix

Looking to try ssh on SCO 5.05. Anyone have any info on this i.e.
recomended versions potential problems,
sshd server server download site to recomend?

first install gcc, then look on www.freshmeat.net , search for ssh,
choose ssh1 or ssh2

Choose ssh1 as the licensing on ssh2 is much more restrictive and ssh1
is still very functional and development hasn't been abandoned, either.

gcc is the gnu c compiler. If you are using SCO and you have all of the
original install media, I believe it comes on your skunkware cd.

1) The skunkware cd seems to have a few shortcomings with gcc, I still get
cpp errors on our 5.0.5 system and I've mucked about for awhile with it.

2) there are critical problems with sshd1, if you are security consious
then ssh2 is yer bet, and that will cost you in licesning fees.
