And the folk who have to pay surface transfers/car parking in Glasgow
who are insulted to find themselves flying via Edinburgh?

I have no idea what that means.
And what's more, I don't care. Airports are even less exciting
than trams.

Pikey airline flying chavs to the sun. Think of them as a long haul
and very downmarket version of Ryanair.

It's quite logical. You are paying for being taken west, so you get a
reduction for the bit going east;-)
Otherwise, isn't it further from Edinburgh to Florida? You are being
charged £10 for an extra 50 miles. You could book the Glasgow ticket
and see if you can get from Edinburgh to Glasgow for less.
The main mystery is why anyone would want to go to Florida. And in
July, yet ???? I wouldn't go if the airline paid me.

www.kayak.com quote Edinburgh to Florida for just a few quid more on
a regular scheduled airline ex New York.
