History of Art A-Level? anyone here?

I'm considering doing this as a private candidate.
Does anyone here do it at school?
I'd like to hear a little more about it. I'm going to order the syllabus,
but a student's perspective would be invaluable.

Also - which exam board do you do? So far AEB(AQA) seem to be the only
people offering it

I'm on a gap year -so it means I'd be applying on my own - not through a
school, as I left last year.
That means I pay for it myself, and have to find somewhere to sit the exam.

Now - back to the original question -anyone do it?! :)
