He's written the piece now on The Debrief that tries to carefully
consider what is known from recent intentional and accidental
disclosures by the US military and comes down tentatively on the side
of a pre-human civilization grown here on planet terra.

From my own talks with people in the intel community here and there it
seems that idea is secretly in favor at the Pentagon to explain the
stuff jet pilots "see every day".

Kastrup points to evidence that he argues indicates "UFO's" can mess
with human minds and make things visible to select or perhaps
accidental witnesses that are not visible to other people watching the
same scene. This is a point sometimes examined by Vallee over many years.

My starting quibble with the first part of the reasoning is -- Kastrip
starts out with a mental model of "ET" that may not obtain. I.e. he
finds the pattern of sightings doesnt seem to fit with an ET that is
coming across vast distances to do a first survey of earth for their
own govt (or whatever). This makes a legion of assumptions about how
and where ET live and civilization has arising and travelled in the
past 14 bn years.

I favor a "polynesian" model myself -- sometimes covered in the
serious astronomical journals. A civilization that around somewhere
else long ago can travel to every point in our Milky Way in well under
a mn years at very low cost/speed. It does its explorion on the
fly. Settles down. Grows up a bit, then sends out more colonization
missions to new nearby likely "islands" until you end up at Easter
Island where you eventually meet someone from an entirly different
realm -- another galaxy if you will.

But it's probably much much more complicated than that. There likely
are some Atlantians and trans-reality dressers in the bunch as
well. Plenty of room for everyone...

[Astronomers in Ukraine have undertaken their own independent survey
of objects they see flying over the Kyiv region at speeds around 15
km/sec. They are watching the daytime sky at the zenith and in front
of the moon. They see many objects -- some bright and some dark,
different sizes. They travel often singly but sometimes in large
groups. They report brightness is linked with speed. The spectrum
of bright objects is reportedly not reflected sunlight. Objects
have been spotted inside the atm upto ~10 km but also out to ~1000 km
above the earth, travelling up to ~1000 km/sec. They are not likely
anything sent by Russia or any other country].
