the boxing rules were invented by a MARQUIS of queensbury.
marquis is kind of like a lord, and queensbury was/is a place in england.

That was so hilarious - Tyson repeated "Marquis of Queensbury" about 10
times in a 2 minute period. He's like a little kid, that once he learns a
new phrase, he keeps repeating it over and over again. Kind of like "Look
at me, I can say Marquis of Queensbury. I'm smart, I can read!"

You're not fooling anyone Tyson.

That whole "confrontation" with Sapp & Tyson was so staged, it was
obvious. The first thing that tipped me off was when Tyson came into the
ring, Sapp pretended to take a swing at him. The glove actually touched
Tyson's cheek. And the homicidal maniac just smiled - yeah right! In
reality Tyson would have been all over the behemoth, biting his ears and
ankles. Then Tyson let slip that there was a "contract" already. Very
staged. The Japs must really think we're stupid.

i think theres a 3rd party behind these stupidly obnoxious scenarios.
and probably an influential one, judging by how they had to blatantly pull
stuff to save Sapp.
there must be a lot of money being invested, and someone doesn't want their
return being minimised.
but hey, at least they are gonna get paid at the end of it, huh? thats what
matters, obviously.
they cant seriously expect to get away with that with anyone with an ounce
of sense and self respect!
wait!
they want the WWF mentality crowds, dont they! :Oo
forget the sense bit...and bring the $$$'s.

sapp fight/rescue - tyson/pantomime was a very, very sad event in my
opinion.
i bet if you trace upwards from sapp and tyson, through promo and
management, and their connections to organising tysons crap wrestling, you
could find the connections that point to who the people are organising this
farsical insult to peoples intelligence.

Indeed.... always follow the money trail...

and yes the masses are stupid, I would bet that 99% of the people that
watched that fiasco, perceived nothing awry.
