"With a deep sadness we've learned that Dream Stage Entertaiment
president Mr. Morishita, one of the most important personalities in
the MMA world , committed suicide by hanging himself today in Tokyo.
Dream Stage Entertaiment is the company which runs Pride Fighting
Championship events.
Rumors pointing that DSE was going through financial problems. It is
known that lately Pride was trying to renegotiate contracts in order
to cut some expenses. What nobody would expect , is that the situation
would come this far. Naoto Morishita had a 3 years old girl and wife."
Personally, I smell Yakuza involvement...

Nope, that was Antonio Inoke.
This is a more cleaner version of an earlier story regarding the death
of Dream Stage Entertainment/PRIDE boss Naoto Morishita.
On 1/8, Morishita and other PRIDE officials held a press conference at a
Shinjuku Hotel in Tokyo to announce plans for upcoming middleweight and
heavyweight Grand Prix tournaments, with the first stage happening in
August and the finals happening in October. Morishita announced that
Hidehiko Yoshida & Yoshihiro Takayama would work the heavyweight GP.
After the press conference, Morishita finished business and went back to
his hotel room. At approximately 12:20 AM, a female acquaintance went
into Morishita's hotel room and found him dead in the bathroom from a
suicide attempt using the belt/strap from his bathrobe to hang himself.
The acquaintance called police and a "119" (suicide) alert was issued. A
rescue team arrived on the scene, but it was determined that Morishita
was already dead.
A spokeperson for the Shinjuku police stated that he didn't know if the
suicide was "not of his (Morishita's) own will" and hinted that the
suicide was due to problems with a friendship, a relationship, or an
acquaintance to someone.
However, there are enormous stories flying around in Japan that
Morishita was feeling intense pressure from business partners and
financial backers in PRIDE to continue to make more money than previous
years. A few foreign business deals had fallen through and not gone
according to plans for PRIDE -- including a TV deal in which rights
would be sold for distribution to clients in the Middle East.
There are calls already being made, asking Nobuhiko Takada to perhaps
step in and take over as the new boss of PRIDE as the top matchmaker.

Morishita, before becoming the boss of Dream Stage Entertainment,
working in a household-electronic appliances company and then founded an
advertising agency, transitioning into being the boss of Dream Stage
Entertainment, which took over PRIDE from KRS.
No the parachutist was Antonio Inoki.
Morishita was in bed with the Yakuza and we know this.
It is being said that Morishita took his own life because
of a love affair gone bad. That is a cover-up. The Yakuza
took his life for draining their bank accounts.
Pride was trying to renegoiate some of their huge MMA contracts
downwards recently because of the Yakuza threat but it was
too little too late.
This was a hit by the Yakuza.
Nope that was Antonio Inoki who parachuted into the pride event. He's a
legendary Pro wrestling legend in Japan.
