KP2013FEB27: DR. AHMED VANISHES!

My first cardiologist here, Dr. Lee, was
a completely incompetent clown and
downright criminal who i eventually
fired after he refused to allow me
to discuss my health with him.
While I was desperately trying to
tell him what he clearly did not
know, and absolutely had to in
order to understand my heath,
he stood up, announced "We're Done
Here!,' and walked out of the room.
I never saw him again!

Dr. Ahmed at least appeared to be an
answer! He was gregarious and had
a affable manner about him, and said
he would approve me for the treatments
i desperately need from other doctors.

Unfortunately, the only things that appeared
to be in his repertoire were scheduling tests
and billing my Medicaid account, precisely
what I fired Dr. Lee for!

At least he could bullshit!

Fairly early on, he informed me that my
heart function had improved to 60%
[which is quite good, as that's the
highest it can get: I don't pretend to
understand the bizarre rating scale.]

I wondered where he got that figure
from. I had had an EKG in the last
year, but not for that purpose.
So he scheduled one just for that:
it takes about 10 minutes to set up
all the electrodes, and then you have
to lie still for 30 seconds. It only took
a month or two set set that up, and
then another month or so to get the
results. The clinic called recently,
and my heart function is still 50%,
as it was shortly after another
hospital diagnosed me with "end
stages congestive heart failure"
and said I was at 40%.

I regularly ride my bicycle now,
slowly and not very far. A mile or
two is as far as I go, but it's still FAR
better than walking! Sadly,
heart function is not improving?

That only took Dr. Ahmed four
or five months to figure out...

I was getting my pills at the
pharmacy today, and the pharmacist
said that Dr. Ahmed is GONE from the
clinic, probably fired, as he would
not likely leave his new practice if
he had any choice.

WHAT? I still have an appointment
with him! I guess he won't show now!

He also left me without prescriptions for
my medicine! The pharmacist said that
they have an emergency order that they
can give me ten days of pills, but then
the clinic will have to hire another doctor
for me to get my medicine. Lost in Limbo!

Stay away from Medicaid if you have ANY
choice at all: it's the waiting room for Death!
