We request that Barack Obama be impeached for the following
reasons.

1. He proclaimed war in libya without getting congress approval
first. Article I, Section 8- Only congress can approve to start
war.

2. Obamacare is unconstitutional. Forcing US citizens to get
health insurance whether they want it or not.

3. Obama disrespects our Constitution calling it flawed and
trying to change it even after taking this oath:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute
the Office of President of the United States,

and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend
the Constitution of the United States."

4. Appointing agency “czars” without Senate approval.

We don't know if it is or not. It is unconstitutional if
and only if SCOTUS says it is.

I actually met one of these guys behind the counter
of a Guitar Center a few weeks ago. As I was
dealing with him he suddenly popped out with "You
know, we have to impeach Obama for the good of
the country!"

I was a bit taken aback at this in-store campaigning,
but when I asked him what impeachable offenses
Obama had committed he cocked his head to one
side, looked at me as if I were upholstered in pink
paisley, and calmly replied "We have to do it for the
good of the country!"

When I spoke to the store manager a bit later I
asked him if he were aware that he had a
salesman who was sitting in for Rush Limbaugh,
and he just shrugged and replied "He's entitled to
his opinion".

Yes, but during working hours? Whew!

Gosh - poor you.

During the Bush administration stores like GC were
rife with Bushwhiners moaning nonstop about him,
and they weren't shy about letting everyone who
walked through the door know about it, either. Most music
stores are packed with leftist assholes anyway, customers
AND staff; the only thing strange about what you encountered
was that there was a rightwinger working there for once.

Poor you - you had a taste of your own medicine, and
found it bitter.

Idiot, I didn't state anything about feeling slighted:
just surprised that any boss would intentionally let
an employee piss-off roughly 50% of his customers.

I would have felt exactly the same way if the idiot
behind the counter (Not you. Different idiot.) was
shilling for a Democrat.

It's not just bad business, it's stupid.

How odd that I never met any. And considering that
I did Guitar Center's repairs for over ten years you'd
have thought that it *must* have happened repeatedly
to hear you tell it.

> Poor you - you had a taste of your own medicine, and

Poor little fruitcake.

But back in the real world, good managers let their troops
know right from the start that their job is moving stuff off
the sales floor, not proselytization or political campaigning.

We once had a *very* good children's guitar teacher who
taught at the store I managed, but she insisted on trying
to convert her students -and their parents- to her religion,
and we got a lot of complaints from parents about that.

We spoke to her several times about it but she insisted
that it was a freedom of speech issue and that we (the
store, that is) had no right to keep her from saying
whatever she wished during a private lesson.

She's no longer working there, although I doubt that
you understand why.

The methodology of the Right has always been:

1. Lie
2. Repeat the lie as many times as possible
3. Have as many people repeat the lie as often as possible
4. Eventually, the uninformed believe the lie
5. The lie will then be made into some form oflaw
6. Then everyone must conform to the lie

Tsk. Try reading for content, not for what you'd like to
see.

I said I *did* GC's repairs: I never said I worked for GC.
In a rare show of common sense, GC used to send their
repairs to the best repair guy within reach because back
then they had no repair departments of their own.

Right: You speak for everyone on alt.guitar, (Nay! For

Yes, that's right: I'm posting to the same groups to

Yeah, hiding is correct. Someone on a.g.a finally called his bluff and
invited him to a boxing ring in Valve's own back yard. The excuses
were many and humorous.

Some amazing craftsmanship there.

Ol' Valvie was probably trying to brag up his own repair work by
ragging on GC's repair guys. While quality is variable on most music
store repairs, there are some good techs in the business. I don't
count Valve among the electronic wizards though. Not even close. He
can probably solder, but he has no real skill or intuition for how
electronic components work (proven). And of course no discipline to
learn the math or engineering for design (obvious).

I've studied musical electronics all my life (including the math and
design parts), and while it is complex, I've never met anyone as
chops-deficient as Valve who had the balls to call himself an expert.

Yeah, just a tad presumptuous.

Next: The part where Valve calls me on the chops thing and I post
links to some of his horrendous electronics blunders and public
embarrassments, or perhaps he'll issue his normal "suck monkey cock"
and run away. I suspect the latter. But I enjoy a good technical
debate. :-)

I dunno if you'd call those "artwork". (Maybe "ink sketches"?)

I've done a lot of freelance writing, and those two are stuff
I did to illustrate a couple of articles I wrote about California
