What was the other brother called, John, Joe, Jerry, etc?????
This might be my overactive imagination, but did Jet say that the other
brother was insane?
I have a feeling that this brother might tie into the Joxer Cross-
dressing ep that is due for the 4th season (www.whoosh.org (rumour
bit)).
It would be really really cool, to have all the Xena clones, the Joxer
brothers, Hope and Gab, and Ares and Herc's other brother all in one ep.
It would be a bit confusing tho. (=

I think it was Jace. (only mentioned very quickly once).

<nitpick> Actually, it's JET who asks about the other brother, and JOXER
who says they're not ever to mention their brother's name. </nitpick>
>What was the other brother called, John, Joe, Jerry, etc?????
Jace, or Jase. For a moment I thought that would be short for "Jason" of
"and the Argonauts" fame, but THAT Jason has already appeared on many an
ep of "H:TLJ" and is clearly no relation to Joxer.

He didn't say he was insane, but he did make a funny hand gesture that
could be interpreted as meaning either "crazy" or "limp-wristed".

I would not be at all surprised if this was the case.

Hmmm, a crazy gesture is a finger pointing at the temple and making a
circle. It didn't seem "limp-wristed" either. More of a "toodle-oo"
wave, but parallel to the ground and away. Maybe he's one of the
Stooges? Waitaminute...that'll be redundant. :)

When I was 16 years old, I was "mature for my age".
Now that I'm 28, I look back and I can say "I was just anal".
To be honest, it looked like the "so-so" gesture to me, the kind that is
sometimes used in response to the question, "How ya doin'?" But the
rocking motion of the hand could, I think, be meant to indicate Jace's
unbalanced mind. However, it seems more likely that Jet was implying
that his brother is either a cross-dresser or homosexual. You used to
see such a gesture made by people saying, "Well, you know Jace, he's a
little. . ." and everyone would know what THAT meant.
But that was overshadowed by Mr. Roper's "limp-wristed" remarks about
Jack Tripper in Three's Company. Oh well, wait and see.

"Donovan Bailey. He's the fastest man in the world, but America will not
admit it."
"Hey! We're faster, bigger and we're on top. Technically America is our
bitch."
-This Hour Has 22 Minutes
Jet mentioned Jace, their other brother, and described him with a hand
signal that is often used to mean homosexual or confused or whatever, and Joxer
reminded him they were not supposed to mention him in public. Knowing what I
now know about the coming eps, it was obvious watching (this was the second
time) that he must be the cross-dresser.

"If your God is not in your heart, then you haven't found God."
I watched the ep again just yesterday; no mention of Jace's insanity.
My first inference was that since Joxer's family are all warlords that
Jace must have done some *really* horrible pillaging so as to make
saying his name forbidden. Sort of like, "Remember, we still can't say
his name in 28 states and the District of Columbia."
Then again, it wasn't until the ep's 2nd running that I noticed Jett's
hand gesture. That made me rethink that theory, and if the
"cross-dressing" episode is a reality, then I'd say it's almost certain
that it's Jace. Joxer's already doned his nightie in FF&G. <g>

I figure Joxer is a "black sheep" because he's not effective as a
warrior. Whereas Jace may be a terrific warrior, but unmentionable for
other reasons. I must admit that I didn't catch the allusion to his
possibly being queer, but thought it was like Jace is sooooooo bad that
mentioning his name is like invoking a demon. Well, I suppose it still
could be even if he is queer.

I thought Jace was suppose to be a Drag Queen
Either way it should be alot of fun!! :) I, personally, took it the first time
as a "demon", then as a drag queen!

True, I can't wait to see what happens to Joxer...and his two brothers. I
wonder if he ever had a sister, I mean a real *REAL* sister who was born a
woman...hmmm. Can't Wait!!

Hey, do you think they would make him play her, too!!!!!1
Goldfinger
Well, if he has to play a brother named Jace who (supposedly) is a cross
dresser, I'm sure he could pull off being a female. Just remember Hercules and
Iolus in "...And Fancy Free". It worked and I'm sure it'll be just as funny!!
