X:WP Unfair To Werewolves

featured in many movies. They are ferocious and worthy adversaries, yet the
X:WP writers have ignored wolfies for six years. We have seen giants,
vampires, walking trees, squeaky-sounding fleas, Greek Gods, sprites,
fairies, dryads, and Zeus knows what else. But, no Werewolves!
Therefore, in behalf of the International Association For The Advancement Of
Werewolves, I have petitioned the Foreign Office to deliver a note to the
Ambassador from New Zealand that Rennaisance Pictures be encouraged not to
discriminate against Werewolves in any future X:WP spinoffs or movies.

Actually, in "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," the Bacchae could turn into
wolves--though they were much more like vampires than werewolves.
Also, since werewolves were certainly part of Greek mythology and
certainly could have had a place in Xena or Hercules.
In the end, though, the best thing that werewolves can hope for is to be
ignored; too often they are misunderstood and misrepresented by the
modern media. (White Wolf Publishing attributes this to the large
numbers of vampires in the entertainment industry, compared to
relatively few werewolves).

In many dracula films, he was able to assume the form of a wolf in addition to
a bat. So it's nt unusual at all for vampires to change shape to wolves.
Werewolves are a different matter as they are a human who has been infected
with lycanthropy - they are not undead which the vampires are.
So White wolf aren't an all knowing authority on werewolves - they just happen
to produce a game based on lycanthropy.
Try reading the original book "Dracula" if you can find it, you might be
surprised at just how good it is as well as finding out that vampires CAN
become wolves.
