Begging the pardon of the math geeks(teehee), this is damned exciting. You
guys should see downtown LA! They are blocking off the streets with tents
and balloons, etc. It's like all of LA is one huge block party!
I thought no one could do both Christmas and New Years like NY, but it seems
LA is giving it a hell of a try!
It's also D-day for me and my gold dress as well.
I've rehearsed until I'm almost hoarse, hair and nails are done, and now
just need the required 12 hours sleep to have the best voice I can to put on
a great show.
I am nervous as hell, but I won't worry.
I just had to say Happy New Years to the quirkiest, snarkiest, group I've
ever had the honor to hang with. I look forward to all the blood, sweat and
tears we will share in the coming year. I even look forward to the
flame-wars that will surely show it's face before 2000 is even a week old!

Though technically the millennium won't start until 2001, the rest of the
world doesn't see it that way and are celebrating it accordingly. So I hope
everyone will try to do something to commemorate this New Years, I don't
think the 2001 celebration will compare to this one. So have a happy one :-D

geez, guys, I MISS you. This has been the roughest holiday season
EVER in retail (and I have 27 years under my belt). I hope to get back and
POSTING by late next week--this real life stuff bites the BIG one--many
thianks to all who sent me personal notes and good wishes, I deleted most of
my mail from the last fee w weeks.
