Soundtrack Poll on Delphi

In addition to writing to Matt Walden of Fox Music--there is a poll now in
the X-Files sig. on Delphi with a simple yes/no in support of a
soundtrack.
Anyone with Delphi access--please go cast a vote there as well. Also
think about sounding off on the subject in the Fox Talk message area!

For all of you interested in the soundtrack, I have told the people at FOx
about the rabid interest in such a thing (as well as ideas for tons of other
merchandise) and they will take the list to the merchandising people for
consideration. And since The X-Files SIG on Delphi has to go through legal
channels to get things like soundbites, we are already in the process of
taking care of the complex legalities surrounding the release of a
soundtrack. For future reference though, these copyrights should already be
in place for the second season and will make it a lot easier for tracks in
the future.

Of course, considering how long it took Fox to license X
Files stuff and get it merchandised (we started lobbying
*hard* for in in January/February, and it took until
July.....) I's say -- don't look for a soundtrack until
next year, maybe.
