response was great... so here are the rules as requested....
***** note this is very much like drunk trek and rules are subject to
change... not that it really matters its just stupid fun*******
*****Note this will be full of typos and spelling mistakes but I cant be
bothered to edit it so ttry to understand********
1) nobody under the legal drinking age (depending on state, province etc)
is to take part.... (now my butt is covered)
2) Participants choose a character at the begining of the episode...
Characters are changed during comercials.... everone playing must be mulder
or scully at least once....
3) when your character appears on the screen you must take a sip of your
drink.... if the camera if goes off of your character for a split second
you must drink again when they re-appear.... (as you could guess sips add
up quickly) The backs of heads count.
3, i) the amount that is sipped is up to each individual player but
remember to pace yourself.... it is an hour long show.... Commonly however
a sip (or drink or swig or whatever) is at minimum a wetting of the mouth
that requires swollowing...
4) Each and every time mulder offers an out of this world expanation to the
case, everone playing takes a gulp.... each episode has quite a few of his
ideas watch for them......
5) each and everytime scully offers a buch of scientific babble to explain
what is going on, all players drink.
6) When scully eventually does a corpse exam (whether on screen or just
talked about) everyone drinks three times....
7) when either scully or fox eventualy get beat over the head or any other
part of the body, everyone drinks twice.
8) each and everytime someone says "federal agent" on screen, participants
drink.
9) everytime a flashlight is used to check out a room by the agents on
screen.... you guessed it you drink....
10) when something "spooky" happens, everyone whatching must scream and
drink.... if anyone is caught covering their eyes when said "spooky" stuff
happens then they must drink the remaining portion of their drink.....
11) each time DEEPTHROUGHT I OR II appears everyone must drink twice each
and everytime he appears or re-appears on the screen...
12) whenever the camera goes into skinners office.... drink 2x
13) whenever someone dies... gulp
14) whenever the agents fill out papers to get a car... drink
15) whenever a hotel room agents are staying at gets turned upside down....
drink 3x
16) Each time the phrase "catch a plane" is used by characters on screen
drink.... eg "we've got to catch a plane in time to get to your hearing"
17) when fox eventuly talks daina into staying longer because the "case is
not closed" even after she puts up a fight.... drink 4x
18) whenever you feel the show cant possibly be wrapped up in the reamining
five minutes but is... everyone must finish their drinks
19) When fox finally kisses daina, everyone drinkes two whole beverages and
must kiss the person to the right of them.... YEAH WHENEVER...
Anyway these are just some common rules we play with... if you think of any
on the go feel free to use them... no rule can be too silly... If I
remember more I'll post or if anyone out there want to add to the list
of possible rules you post........ So have fun....
REMEMBER DON"T DRINK AND DRIVE.... That is not to cover my butt... i just
really dont like dickheads that do.....
PS.... May i add that Stienlager is a fine beer to drink during, before or
after the game.... or at any time for that matter.... its an import from
newzzzyland.... damn fine try it out....
