Actually, it's sort of meta-on-topic ;-)

I am hereby announcing the first ever atxf wedding!
Bill k. asked me to marry him.
I, of course, accepted :-)

No date has been set as we have immigration to
deal with -- lots of evil bureaucracy -- but I wanted
to share this with y'all.

To quote gizze: I love us :-D

Okay...I suggest Bachelor and bachelorette parties for the "first ever

What sweet news. It's a true pleasure to see something so magical
happen in part thanks to ATXF. I say in part, because though it started
here, it doesn't seem as if it ended here... winky wink... (sorry

Congratulations. May you share each other's love through good times
and bad, sanity and insanity, Season 7 and the movie franchise --
before the Revolution and after. :)

A toast, comrades. <raises glass> To the happiness of Bill and Adora,
together, and may their love last long. For love, above all else, is
the inner heart of the human race, whether it be of ideas, things, or
other people; and it is all the more wonderful and deep when it is for
a comrade; and love is the one thing that still remains when all else
that is good and wonderful in the world is stripped away.

Hey Adora, since I congratulated you already in e-mail (congrats to
Bill, too, of course) I have two very serious questions. ;-D

Don't the EFF-EEE-BEEers have a rule about this kind of fraternization
which gives a whole different meaning to planting your flag? AND, is
this going to be a two-computer, three-telephone lines, two-ISP
household? Because, you know, this is the most important thing you two
will have to discuss before you can have a life together. ;-D

You talkin' to me?

Cheers--the bar is open to *everyone* in celebration of Bill & Adora's
engagement--drink up!

Sorry, Hank--no valet parking available ;)

Say--in honor of the betrothed couple--how about a special drink:

a Sundae Special--

drink one and you have irresistible urges to run out and propose to the person

you're madly love in with--and hey, even if you're already married to them, do
it anyway!

Now there's something I hadn't tried yet. My favorite so far
is finding the perfect light so that I can make the diamond
flash straight into someone's eye. Either I get their attention,
or I blind them ;->

pshaw. I always knew Ad was self-absorbed, but this is quite enough.

Marita--still thinks Ad and -R are one in the same.

Fine by me, but you have to clear the dress with Lady Sally.
She's officially costuming the wedding ;-)

Rules? We have no stinking rules!!
Well, actually we do, but we have to break them just on principle ;-)

Only one ISP and no telephone lines because Bill has *cable modem*!!!
<happy dance> We will, however, have four computers between the
two of us, and I'm already diagramming the network I can wire using the
existing cable runs and NICs ;-D

Thank you, Sean. That's really beautiful. (Well, except for the last line
which might be beautiful too, but I'm not sure ;-P)

Oh God no. If I have children, I'll love them enough to shield them
from a group like this ;-P
